Propane Motor Fuel
 Proulx Oil and Propane has recently been named the New England Representative for the American Alternative Fuels Equipment used for propane motor fuel conversion. This product uses propane, a Green Fuel, as the primary or can be used as a supplemental, but in all cases provides you, the customer, a DUAL FUEL option for your transportation fuel. This technology applies to consumer vehicles as well as commercial, industrial, and municipal fleet operations.
The primary benefits of the propane vapor injection systems for either fuel are:
- Lower fuel costs
- Better performance
- Cleaner tailpipe emissions
- Using propane, a greener fuel than traditional gasoline OR diesel applications
- Conversions done locally by expertly trained technicians provides local employment stimulus

The propane into diesel engine injection approved list is basically ANY DIESEL BURNING engine. The propane into gasoline engine injection approved list is provided below. Installation and payback on the investment varies by the number of miles driven per vehicle.
